What are the service areas for Crown Cabs?

Crown Cabs main taxi service areas are Metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria, but we are now expanding into Perth (Western Australia) and Brisbane (Queensland). If you're booking from outside of Victoria we recommend calling 1300 12 13 14 to ensure we can cater to all of your needs. 

Can I give my Travel Card to my family and friends to travel with?

Yes, you can as long as you have purchased them. If you have a personalised card with your name printed, you must be traveling also for the security of the card. You must mention you have a Crown Cabs Travel Card at the beginning of the journey.

Can I give my MPTP card to my family and friends to use?

No, if travelling on an MPTP card, you must be the cardholder. Please advise your driver upfront that you have an MPTP card, and show the card to your driver at the start of your trip.

How do I book a cab for a group of more than four (4) passengers?

Crown Cabs offer maxi cabs, people movers and and larger vehicles that can accommodate extra passengers (5 to 11 seater vehicles). Make sure to specify the number of passengers when you're making your booking so we can ensure the vehicle suits your needs. 

Can I book a Wheelchair Accessible taxi?

Yes! Let us know when you're making your booking what requirements you have and we'll ensure the correct vehicle comes for you. 

Can my infant ride in a Crown Cab? 

Crown Cabs and other authorised taxi service doesn't require child restraints such as capsules, child seats or booster seats for, however you are welcome to bring and install your child’s restraint or booster seat with you.  Our vehicles have at least one point where the straps of a child restraint or booster seat can be securely attached.
